Bausch & Lomb - China Strategy Project

After years of profitable growth, Bausch & Lomb China hit a bump-in-the-road. Growth tapered off. Markets changed. Evolving trade channels and regions had to be recognized. Value-addition efforts by  the Asia Pacific HQ and Country HQ teams were thwarted by divergent perspectives.

The challenge was to bring all stake-holders to the same table, and to closely study the changed market conditions. The task-force effort resulted in a revamped strategic plan which focused on the highest growth & most profitable segments - thus ensuring continued growth of this large subsidiary well into the future.
